Our school is growing. That growth is a vote of confidence in the quality and breadth of the educational activities we provide.
Although the Department of Education have funded the extension of our school hall, this provided us with a unique opportunity to further develop a facility that caters more effectively to the needs of Bletchington students, their parents and the wider community.
In response, during 2022 the P&C funded upgrade's and additions to the stage in our school hall, providing wing stairs, curtaining, sound and lighting. These improvements have essentially
- provided a dedicated rehearsal and performance space for the many instrumental groups, choirs and dance troupes that already involve over 300 of our students, as well as whole school performances
- facilitate regular all of school assemblies
- enhance sound quality and comfort at major events such as the annual presentation days and whole school productions
- promote goodwill, independence and a sense of ownership in our school community
